London's Calling!

I would like to officially announce that today I found out that I got into BYU's study abroad program in London!!!! You have no idea how excited I am. I will be going for the summer term from June 23 to August 13.  There is still lots to do to prepare, but now I'll  just celebrate.  Thank you to every one who has helped me in any way (especially to my sister Jessica).  It was an intense process, but definitely all worth it.  I love y'all.  We really are dreamin' big in 2009!

(Also kind of a random side note: I need some input on how I should get my hair done.  I'm thinking I want to go full brunette this time.  I've been trying to go gradual but I think its time to just go for it.)

V-Day, V-Day.

For some strange reason, I really got into Valentine's Day this year.  I don't know what happened, but I guess I'm a fan now.  I think it is a cheesy way to let the people around you know how much you love them.  I just love love.

I really wanted to bake and make lots of fun treats.  Since all of my room mates were out of town, me and my neighbor Whitney decided to combine our baking forces and call it a party.  This is what became of
it-- TONS of sweets, an unexpected amount of people, a kissing wall, and a chihauhua.

For some reason the guys willingly put on lipstick for the kissing wall... What can I say Marci has a talent.

I LOVE the Gruwells!  Eliza brought her Valentine present with her... the cutest little chihauha I've ever seen (besides Bruiser of course haha)

The incredible Miss Whitney.

Me and my friend, Jay, who just got back from his mission.

Me and some of the girls in my ward.  They are so sweet and I just love my ward.

Hahahahaha is all I gotta say.

and thaaat's a wrap!

Eleanor... I Adore!

It was a beautiful sunday afternoon in New Orleans and so we decided to go to Audobon Park after church to take some pictures of Sarah and her cute little family.  We just adore little Eleanor!  We have enjoyed having them here in New Orleans.  Little Eleanor has had so many smooches and has never been left alone for even a second!  She is usually all smiles, but I guess she was not liking our little photo shoot too much haha.  Here are some of our faves...

Christmas Thus Far

I have had the most wonderful Christmas break with my family! It has been so much fun to have every one under the same roof... even though there are 12 of us in a small apartment. We figured we all end up in the same room any way so why not make that 24-7. Me and Freddie got to New Orleans first and we spent the first couple of days going to Thibodeaux and looking at beautiful Christmas lights and just spending time with one another. Next came Emily and Jeremy and they are so much fun to have around. We went to my favorite restaurant in the French Quarter, Palace Cafe, and walked around the French quarter and ended our day by going to Cafe Du Monde to eat some Beignets. Next pulled up Jessica and Scott and their 3 kids who drove from Cincinatti. The Kids are getting so grown up and we have been having a jolly ol' time! I think one of my favorite nights in New Orleans was when me, Ethan, Jacob, Amy, and Freddie went to City Park to the Amusement Park. You should have seen Ethan's face when he rode the Cups for the first time. You would have thought he would be scared, but he was laughing so hard and he LOVED every single ride. I felt like a little kid again especially since we were with Ethan who just loved every thing. City Park had the most majestic feel and was so magical that night-- pretty much like all of New Orleans. I just love it here and I even thought about moving here when I'm older. I am so blessed to be here for Christmas and to have such a loving and caring family. I have enjoyed every moment with them.

Gotta love Louisiana juicy good finger-lickin' strawberries.
